London Shadow
The exhibition London Shadow. La rivoluzione inglese da Gilbert & George a Damien Hirst (London Shadow. The English revolution from Gilbert & George to Damien Hirst) recounts, through twenty-three works, the spirit of artistic renewal that began in Britain in the late 1980s and early 1990s under the name of the YBA (Young British Artists). At the end of the decade, little more than twenty years old and still students, these young artists finally saw the possibility of breaking with the “old” generation and imposing with force truly new signs, messages and expressive codes.
For a better understanding of the exhibition and its historical context, Punto Rec Studios and Luca Beatrice take the viewer on a multimedia journey full of images, videos and music from the period..
